About this time last year I launched the second design for DatNewCudi and after much deliberation I decide to leave a large part of the site as it is this time around. I call this one a re-align. Over the past year I’ve been adding a lot to DatNewCudi in terms of content and information. Much of it on the fly, which has led to a bunch of sloppy design choices. I let it slide for too long. Over the last few weeks I sat down to refresh the look slightly while primarily putting my focus on improving how the content on the site was presented to the sites visitors. Hence the 2.5 version. We’re not at 3 just yet, but it will be awesome, whenever it comes.

Most people haven’t heard of Imaginary Foundation so its nice to be able to wear their clothing and not see every other person with it on. The above Tee is one of my favorites from their collection, its called “Charged by Imagination”. Some of the quotes on the site come directly from them, such as “Art is the lie that makes us realize the truth“. Here’s a bit about them:
The Imaginary foundation was established in Geneva in 1973 as an experimental “think-tank” for new ideas. Created by an eclectic group of free thinkers, the foundation’s research spans all creative endeavors and assigns as its goal; the wish to eliminate set conventions in favor of the humorous, the abstract and the visionary.
