With the growing demand for a mobile friendly website by the 4 million plus visitors to DatNewCudi a mobile website was needed. The new website was designed to target the on-the-go fan looking for quick updates on Kid Cudi. No matter what phone a visitor is on (iPhone, Android, Blackberry or even an iPod touch) the new layout will automatically be displayed eliminating any need for redirects.

A new City of Port Coquitlam mobile website launched in December puts key on-the-go information at your fingertips. The mobile website features streamlined, faster-loading content targeted specifically to mobile phones and web-enabled devices. Working on the development and design of the mobile site one of the keys was targeting the key information being viewed by users. You can view it in action on your phone at m.portcoquitlam.ca.
The City of Port Coquitlam received a Best Practices – Civic Engagement Award at the Union of BC Municipalities’ annual Community Excellence Awards ceremony, held in Whistler at 7 am Thursday (Sept. 29). The awards showcase BC municipalities and regional districts that lead the pack, take risks to innovate, establish new partnerships, question established ways of doing business and pioneer new customer service practices.

The latest projet I worked on was for Cleveland based recording artist Chip Tha Ripper who is preparing to release his first album titled “Gift Raps” later this year. Website was built on WordPress 3.0 so Chip and his team could easily update and ad content to the website. You can few the live site at www.ChipThaRipper.com.
KidCudi.tv (www.datnewcudi.com/tv) is an addition to DatNewCudi.com in an effort to provide an archive & gallery of all Kid Cudi videos available. Organized by various categories such as song titles and year of performance, it’s ease of use should provide fans with a one stop solution for any video they may be looking for. Based off the WooThemes theme “WooTube”.
So far the reception has been favourable with the video archive adding a daily increase of 15-20% in pageviews to DatNewCudi.com since it’s launch March 14.

An ongoing project for me right now is maintaining Kid Cudi’s official myspace by updating information and posting daily blog entries in an effort keep user interaction high. Along with that I’ve also redesigned the myspace to give it a fresh new look which you can check out now.
