In anticipation of Kid Cudi’s upcoming album “Man on the Moon: The End of Day” I thought it was time to give DatNewCudi.com a new look and to get away from the two year old “Day ‘n’ Nite” design. The new site was designed to the theme of a “Kid Cudi Universe”. You’ll find Constellation Cudi on your left side, along with the moon man and a few other little things in the design (including a moon man on drums). It’s my intergalactic view of this crazy universe. Make sure to check it out live at www.DatNewCudi.com for the full universal-like effect.
My latest mini-project and addition to DatNewCudi.com. The site is called “Cudi Universe” – www.cudiuniverse.com and its purpose is to serve as a hub between the official Kid Cudi website and DatNewCudi.com. I’m encouraging fans to use it as their homepage so they can quickly take a look at what’s happening on both sites and continue from there. Got the idea for this from ClevelandMUSIC who put together a quick mock of the famous “Lebron James – Witness” ad campaign by Nike but with Kid Cudi. Kid Cudi is easily one of my top 3 favorite artists right now. This video released a few weeks back on DatNewCuDi.com which is the website/blog I run about him. Video is a nice refreshment to the constant amount of garbage videos released by artists these days.

My two favorite artists hooked up for this track late last year and it was released on Kanye West’s album “808′s and Heartbreak”. That album is a personal favorite to date and I think it’s Kanye’s most succesful album yet. This is the music video for the track and all I can say is that Director/Producer Nabil did a fantastic job. It’s creative and it really conveys the emotions and feelings Kanye was looking for.
