Right after Canada won the Gold in Mens Hockey I jumped in my car and made my way downtown to join in on the celebrations. Above is a quick video recap as I walked the streets around Granville & Robson as huge crowds gathered in Vancouver’s core to celebrate. Keep reading for a selection of photos.

Some more photos during the 2010 Olympics here in Vancouver as I spent the weekend in the heart of the action or kaos depending on mood. You’ll see photos of kids playing a game of street hockey in the towns busiest street (Granville), the Olympic Cauldron, Sochi House (aka Science World) and more.

Took my new Rebel T1i out for the night (Feb. 13) as the Olympic celebrations were in full force on Day 2 as hundreds of people partied in Robson Square and roamed around Granville & Robson.

Torch relay came threw today as it made its way to downtown Vancouver. Work sent me out to film as the Torch was lit and sent off. Pretty cool to see so many people in the rain cheering them on.

Whoa, this is awesome. Reminds me how nice Vancouver actually is. Get’s good at about 1:30 in.

While in Vancouver last week Kid Cudi performed 5 shows in 3 nights! I managed to attend them all but only film the final solo show on Friday night at the Commodore. Tons more video below as you can watch almost the entire 60 minute set.

Right after being in Seattle for Summer Jam I was headed home for Rock The Bells a few days later in Vancouver. Video above has Nas and Damian Marley putting on a crazy show performing some of their past songs together as well as two new tracks from the upcoming album “Distant Relatives”. Keep reading for Talib Kweli, Common, Nas’ solo set as well as Damian Marley’s solo set.

Our Rock The Bells footage from Vancouver keeps on going. Now its time for Nas to run through his set as he does some of his hits like “Hate Me Know” and “One Mic”. Footage of Nas and Damian Marley performing as a duo is coming right up.

Nas and Damian Marley, currently working on their collaboration album “Distant Relatives”, were the headliners at this years Rock The Bells in Vancouver. The two performed various songs together and also did there own sets so heres some of Damian Marley performing alone. Nas footage is up next with footage of them performing together after, including two new tracks from their upcoming album.

Continuing with our Rock The Bells footage is Talib Kweli performing live. After being told Reflection Eternal wouldn’t be attending they showed up for a quick 20 minute set before Nas & Damian Marley. Hi-Tek didn’t get much time on the mic so this video is purely Talib performing.

Common went up and performed some of his recent hits as well as doing two freestyles. One for the city of Vancouver and one for some fun.
